Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances profit with purpose. We are legally required to consider the impact of all our decisions on our people, our customers, our suppliers, our community and our planet. It is the highest level of independent company certification in the world, and a global movement of people using business as a force for good. Skandinavisk has been certified as a B Corp since 2019.

The B Corp Beauty Coalition is a collective action initiative of over 60 B Corps committed to working together to improve the environmental footprint of the beauty industry. Skandinavisk is a founding member, and current Chair of the Supervisory Board.

In March 2023, the coalition published the 'B Beauty Navigator' – an online database of beauty better practice designed to help beauty companies and beauty shoppers make more sustainability-oriented choices. 

Says Shaun, "We march under the banner ‘B Beauty’, and we aim to broaden the meaning of beauty itself, from one focused on the self, to one where the protection of the beauty of nature is held just as important."
